If I remember right, we landed around 7:00 PM on September 21, 1986. The View from the sky was beautiful. During the two-hour drive to our destination, I started to learn about The U.S.
Welcome to Modesto, California.
It was a two-hour car drive to Modesto from the San Francisco airport. I remember the air quality began to change with each city we passed. It was a Friday, and I was getting the drill for Monday. School, school, school, it's all I heard. (in a good way)
